Project Overview

A project focused on function improvements, Japanese-English localization, and global SEO for an installation-free, fast-loading browser mini-game collection platform (279 games total) built with Astro and TypeScript.

Project Goal

  • Providing a stress-free gaming environment that launches in seconds to deliver a smooth user experience.
  • Cleaning up quality by archiving unstable games and resolving click/touch input bugs.
  • Increasing domestic and international traffic through bilingual translation and targeted SEO.

Scope of Work

  • Code splitting and lightweight footprint optimizations using Astro and Vanilla JS
  • Implemented bilingual i18n switching system for menus, game rules, and instructions using URL parameters
  • Embedded JSON-LD schema data and alternate hreflang tags for global search engine optimization
  • Fixed click and touch coordinate offset offsets in games like Gomoku caused by viewport borders and resize
  • Developed automatic stage generator for Color Sort to mathematically verify and output solvable stages only
  • Auto-filtered PC-only games on mobile screen accesses and added platform labels (PC Only / Mobile Ready)
  • Designed responsive sidebar ad frames for screens wider than 1640px to prevent overlapping gameplay area

  • Leveraged script-driven bilingual translation instead of creating duplicate files per language to preserve site speed and maintain SEO value.
  • Implemented automated border offsets to achieve pixel-perfect hit reaction precision across varying viewports and resize states.
  • Prioritized user experience by pre-filtering non-playable PC games from mobile layout lists, saving data and clicks.
  • Integrated pre-sized ad layout slot placeholders to eliminate Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) layout jumps during load.
